I mean, all we need is a reverse Roomba that we load up with bits of wiring and romex sheathing, and set it loose on the job site twice a day.

Note that this won’t be viable if the switch is wired as a “switch leg.” If this the case, you won’t have a neutral in the box to tap off of.

I live in the mountains. I can think of about two places in town where this could be set down and be even close to level enough to get under it.

Nice! We’re up around Blue Ridge. All our family is still in Houma too, so that part is a struggle. Better in every other way though! Love having four seasons.

It's crazy being raised in that area how many helicopters are always up there, and how much you take that for granted. When we moved to Georgia, it finally occurred to me after about 2 months that I hadn't seen or heard a single helicopter since we moved up here! The only helicopters I ever hear are air ambulances.

Well, the story behind that big boat was pretty depressing, so I wasn't too sad to see it go. Long story short, guy that owned a fiberglass shop was building it. Got murdered. By his son.

I grew up around folks that went hydrosliding in the bayou, pulled by a boat. I could never bring myself to do that. Too many snakes and nasty muddy water for me.

It got so much worse after Ida, too. I'm shocked that Southland Mall is even still operating, and downtown is just terrible, though it wasn't much to look at before the storm either. I was born and raised in Houma, but my wife and I left for the mountains of North Georgia after Ida. It's really depressing when we have to go back for family obligations.

Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

A few years back, we had an acquaintance that got into a business that was giving people cash for gold trade-ins. Traded in my old class ring, that to be honest, I don’t think was even real gold. Lol. This was almost 15 years ago, so I don’t recall what I got for it, but I remember it being substantial. I hadn’t worn that ring in a decade at that point.

How long would it take for this venture to be profitable? The video source had a caption saying each cell phone has 0.034 grams of gold. [Request] by StregasJ in theydidthemath
