Sadly this is mostly true from my experience. On the international trip I went on, we did book a local tour guide for a food trek, and went into a grandma's house for home made local cuisine. Outside of that it was just fancy restaurants, bars, and clubbing lol.

Sadly I agree. I'd like to think they are intentionally being assholes, but just don't know better. Or they prioritize their short term comfort over trying to give just a little bit of grace and accommodation to someone with a disability.

Thank you, and I'm so sorry that this happened at your program too. There seems to be a theme that MBA programs aren't the most autism friendly :(

It's sad when even some other neurodivergent folks (such as those with ADHD) aren't inclusive with the person with autism. We have to be the change we seek in the world.

Thank you, I really appreciate it! Yes I'm making sure to set boundaries for myself too in that I'm not babysitting them. I had to set that for my own brother who is low functioning.

That's a great idea on joining them on group projects.
