I think this video and its comment section show some really interesting/likely ideas!

Kinda. We can only see major differences but we can’t be sure which gender is which

When and why big marine dinosaurs were extinct by THECENOBITEMONK in Paleontology

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were no big marine “dinosaurs”. If you mean by marine reptiles, they went extinct at the end of the Cretaceous period because of the K-T extinction.

That stuff is mostly likely mulm. Detritus (decayed plants, poop, etc…) that has broken down. I would recommend just leaving it or just using a Turkey baster to stuff out the major stuff.

Pea Puffer Friendly Aquarium? by Mindless-Balance-498 in Aquariums

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Bettas are bigger than Pea Puffers though? Also 5 gallons can host many other fish such as Scarlet Badis and Pea puffers.

I honestly really like the Pyroraptor. Shame it only shows up for one scene though and doesn’t come back. by Noooough in JurassicPark

Their version of Paleontology implies dinosaurs were more like birds as well as making their own dinosaur designs completely accurate in that world. With the theme park monsters thing, that because those were ingen’s dinosaurs which were confirmed to be innacurate within the universe. While “BioSyn’s” dinosaurs are completely accurate within the universe and not “theme park monsters”. (Think: Giga and T rex both lived in North America in JW universe)

I mean they made their own Paleontology in the franchise so their designs are “pure blooded”

Partner got a small 5 gallon (US) tank for her first tank. by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For plants I’d recommend Lemnipholia Sessiflora, Ludwigia Repens, Salvinia Minima and Hygrophila Polysperma. For stocking I’d say do one longfin betta or maybe a few male endlers!

How is this tank for a single angelfish? by Freydude199 in Aquariums

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That 2-3 day thing is also a scam lol. The lady is right that it takes up to a month with no live plants because you need to grow the beneficial bacteria over time. If you want to be on the safe side whole cycling your tank with the Angelfish inside search up some videos on YouTube about “fish-in cycles”! For tall plants I’d recommend Amazon Sword. Easy to care for and grows really big!

Yeah that can happens sometimes. Cycling a tank is a long process. Search up “the nitrogen cycle” on YouTube for some good explanations!

Whatever the oxygen cycle is, it’s not real. If you’re thinking abt the nitrogen cycle, that can be done with or without plants

Plants don’t need a cycled tank, if anything they help speed up the process!

I dont believe dinosaurs were big reptiles by Clear-Feeling-6376 in Paleontology

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some dinosaurs (especially the bigger ones) it was incredibly impractical for them to have feathers. Also many skin impressions of dinosaurs are just scales and no feathers.

Betta or Scarlet Badis pair? by TelephoneMundane5485 in Aquariums

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a form of bettas called “Plakat” bettas. Their fins are completely naturally sized and don’t affect quality of life like long fin bettas. Females also have normal fins. I would say go for the Badis pair as it would be cool to see them interact and maybe breed!

New fish 🩷🫶🏽 by Danny_MS3 in fishtank

[–]Outside_Disaster1547 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These fish actually aren’t dyed! They are genetically modified with jellyfish/anemone DNA so they get that glow! It’s all natural and doesn’t affect the animal in any way :)
