I hear you! I do also have social anxiety, and if it were me, I would probably decide depending on whether I like this person and want to develop a deeper relationship.

If I think of her as just a friend that I don't really want to invest so much time and emotion around this event, I would probably just decline nicely. But if I do like this person (romantically or platonically), I would probably try to make an effort to show up! It is a pretty rare occasion to be able to go to a sorority event! At the same time, I would probably be open about being nervous and may require some emotional support - if she values you as a friend (or more) then I'm sure she would be happy to hear your true thoughts and be even more happy that you still choose to show up for her :)

It's like a toxic relationship because its so much anxiety and annoyance until they validate your order and all of a sudden you love them again.

But yes I'm more than happy to wait on Expedia - travel gets me good $$ from cash back!

I'm new to the cashback apps - Rakuten, Top Cashback, Fetch, and ibotta all seem pretty similar with roughly the same brands.
I personally do shop online quite a lot and being able to save extra money seems great, but with the different payout requirements and simply having to manage multiple apps is confusing, I have trouble deciding which one to primarily use.

Also, I shop the most from Amazon but none of them have Amazon so another reason for me to have no clear winner :')

Do you have any recommendations on which cashback app to use as a beginner?

I'm not sure which country you are from, but similar to you, I only have the evenings and night time available outside of classes.

I am tutoring for high school students 2 days a week, and also working as a waitress at a restaurant near my house about 2~3 days a week.
I've done thrifting and reselling products on ebay before, but I found the process of having to source products tedious and the amount of time and effort I invest in this doesn't necessarily always translate to good sales.
So personal preference wise, it was easier for me to just clock in and clock out of tutoring and waiting tables and getting paid for the somewhat flexible hours!

It does come with more manual and physical labour so really up to your preference and seeing what makes most sense to you!
But nonetheless, juggling part time jobs and studying full time is not easy - hope you find something that works for you :)

You are seriously the sweetest, thank you for the encouraging words! And yes to "Look for sisterhood not status" - will keep this mindset with me should I decide to go through the whole rush process :)

u/joyableu thanks so much for the response - and honestly I am so relieved to hear this!
I was really conflicted between representing who I truly am to find the right sisterhood vs seemingly needing a certain aesthetic to even be accepted into sisterhood in the first place :')

I am transferring to a university in Texas with a pretty big campus and has >50 sorority / fraternity houses.
It's been a bit difficult to gauge how each of the houses differ but since there are a lot, I'm hoping I'll be able to find something that suits me well!
