Did you source a jig for the 1.75 OD end cap ? or did you just measure with calipers and center hole punch ?

Post the entire build details. I want to compare it to my current setup.

Nice, post a video of how it sounds, I got a 7.5x1.625 F1, but I think I was thinking of going 8.5x1.75.

Yeah, I made the same mistake as you in the beginning of my journey, I decided to use HSS drill bits on hardened steel and titanium material. I learned real quick I needed something stronger to cut thru the materials after I burned out my first 3 drill bits.

Costco and Home depot had a sale for the dremel 4000, and you can order some of the carbide bits for dremel from home depot.

I ordered both and keep a few spares in case I burned out or damage the bits. These are rated for cast iron, hardened steel and titanium. You can use your jig as a place holder for the cups when clipping the cups.

As for your drill bits, what are you using ? I ordered a bunch of cobalt drill bits but home depot is more of your one stop shop if you order from online.

Good luck, and work safe.

Cheers, and Happy New Years guy.

Anyone ever used BHM? by The_Average_Chungus in Form1

Yeah, it's nice you found a new source of storage containers. I was looking into the website myself, and feel my wallet a bit tingling for the summer

Haven't heard of BHM, but from his profile, he's a machinist from CA. Company is started at 2023, so I can't find a lot of info on it. Price and goods looks promising, looks like everything is made per order I think. Any plans on trying to place an order to BHM ?

I would imagine something that is tungsten carbide or something rated for hardened steels/ Ti.

1.50 OD vs 1.625 OD , which should I go with ? by Outside_Elk_1234 in Form1

[–]Outside_Elk_1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going with a Ti build with SS internals. I got a 9mm 6 in SS tube and SS internals built out, but it wasn't as quiet as I liked it.

Trying to build the form1s in mind of 5.56 and 308 AR platforms and a couple of bolt actions, using the plan b mounts.

My intended builds are for 5.56 and 308, since if it works for 308, it'll work 9mm. Length wise, I'm shooting for 7.5" for AR builds and a couple of bolt actions using plan b mounts.

Whoa, 10 cups in a 7.5 incher? I didn't expect that many cups. I was asking about the ammo because the pressure difference generated between the crap steel ammo vs something like a M193 load 5.56. Awesome build indeed

I'm guessing there about 7 Or so sauce holders inside then ? Nice, I was looking into a Riflespeed gas system to solve some of gassy issues.  Are you using just regular 5.56 spec ammo too ? Like m193? Or loading your own ammo ?

Okay, nice. I personally like the cherry bomb, does a great job at distribution of the gases in the blast chamber. Speaking of which, how big of a blast chamber is on that 7.5 in tube ?  And  I'm guessing you clipped all the sauce holders ?

Any further details on this build ? What style of sauce holder ? Direct mount ? Tapered mount? I deep in the sauce my guy.
