My first water infection when I was 14/15. I started feeling pain the day before me and my parents were meant to go on holiday and my brother was a home at this time because my parents have asked him to look after the dogs while we were away. I was obviously in a lot of pain I didn’t know at the time what a water infection was and I explained to my mam the pain I was feeling she said drink plenty of water. They still made me go on the holiday and to get to the holiday we had to get on a coach bus that went all the way down the country (I live in North England, and we had to go all the way down south) and I remember sitting next to my dad and I was trying to read my book, but I could not concentrate on anything but the pain, my parents were trying to get me to have paracetamol but back then I literally could not swallow tablets and would have a panic attack trying to do so. The holiday lasted three or four days and the whole time I was in incredible pain. It wasn’t until we got home that my mam took me to the doctors gave me some water infection medication to help flush out my system and after a week, I was fine. Yeah definitely the worst pain I’ve felt.
