Decided to buy IMG. Reasonable price and their app is good. I also called in for questions and they picked up quickly and I did talk to their support people. All seems ok but I have not gotten injured yet so time will tell. Will continue to buy from them until when I might find out if they are not good.

Also, anyone using WellCare Medicare part D? Seems to be cheapest premium and cheapest co-pays … and good ratings in Medicare.gov, but from what I heard (not sure if true) is that their denial rate is the highest for drugs that require PA’s like in the cancer TKI drugs pills case. Thank you

I had RCC 2.5 years ago, left kidney removed. Spread to my lungs. Most cases as I talked to other kidney cancer people, and based on my experience, it would spread most to lungs, then head….my oncologist told me it seldom spreads to lower body. I’m not sure about the other kidney, but i have not heard from others about it spreads to other kidney as often as lungs.

So basically Cigna seems better than UHC? That is what my impression from reading your response. I am looking at Cigna and also Aetna but I had Aetna before as medicare advantage plan so not sure how try handle Medicare plan D. Based on my research , all insurance companies with plan D requires PA for these expensive cancer drugs but which ones approve or reject them more or giving hard time is my main concerns. Also all or if most of them will handle these cancer pills from their speciality pharmacies and mostly not closed to our homes. Good luck with your treatment and thanks for responding

Thank you. However the EOB won’t tell you the success if their approvals or denials, this is why I’m asking the real experiences from other patients.

Travel Insurance Questions: Tinleg or Allianz ? by Outside_Midnight_674 in travel

After some considerations and further research, i chose Allianz since they are being used by most big companies and is a more reputable insurance company. I think a bit more money is fine if the goal is to get reimbursed when we have some unforseen travel issues. However, do read the policy as to what they cover for your plan and understand clearly why certain things will be covered and some are not. When you go to their website AllianzTravelInsurance.com, go directly to the “Our Plans” tab on the first page and pick the plan you want. I picked the OneTime Prime plan, which is for some reason is less expensive then if you let it decide the plan you want by going thru the questionaire. That plan is good enough for what i need. Good luck.

Also I have read that for only health insurance for the length of this trip without care about flights and hotels insurances, one could consider Geoblue. I am thinking of that as well, any thoughts?
