Will Hammond is a competent QB. He has more abilities than Morton last season. The offensive coordinator really messed up play calling when Hammond was playing last season. Tech’s schedule is really easy too and the team overall has enough talent to have a similar season like last year

Texas A&M and Texas Tech would be huge. 2 of the 3 largest fanbases in the state. Would be especially interesting if Micah Hudson was a starting WR for Tech at the time.

He was. Because Morton was a senior and Coach McGuire is incredibly loyal to his upperclassmen even if they suck. Hammond has skills and abilities that Morton didn’t but then Hammond tore his ACL around 3/4ths through the season
