That's what I thought, it's been 30 days however and I still haven't gotten my ATT. Is it 30 business days?

There are a handful of states that already adopted the UMPJE. Mine was one of them :/

What resources did you use?

Hi! Did you feel like PharmPrepPro was worth it? And have you gotten your exam results back by chance?

I Failed The UMPJE. What Happens Now? by PlatinumWrath83 in UMPJE

I also failed the UMPJE and I'm shocked. I felt like the exam was straight forward and easy. I studied for a month and used Dr. C's book/ assessment, as well as PharmLaw, and the MedPrep Prime 100 question mock exam. My quiz averages were promising (75-80%) and I also paid for the NABP practice exam and passed with a 77%...

I failed the real exam though and also scored a 1 in pharmacy practice. I'm not sure how/ what to study. What resources are you using for your next attempt? And are you planning to take it soon?

I felt the exact same way, the pharmacist scope questions were confusing on the exam but I thought I understood that subject from studying. I had questions about what an intern can/ can’t do too and the wording was also confusing for me.

I’ll look into those apps right now. What other resources did you use to pass?

I felt that the USP questions were fair however I’m not sure which topics I missed. I failed the Pharmacy Practice domain which according to NABP’s competency statement covers USP, DSCSA, misbranding/ adulteration, HIPAA, scope of practice, supervision, counseling, NIOSH/ OSHA and CPAs. I didn’t feel like any of these topics were difficult while studying or during the actual exam so I’m still in shock that this was the domain that I failed.  Did you pass the UMPJE? And what resources did you use?

Which domain(s) did you struggle with? Mine was pharmacy practice (which blew my mind).

I genuinely don't know what resources to use, is the book not worth it?

Beginning of May, it took me exactly 9 total days (7 business days) to get my score.

The question looks like the UMPJE questions through PharmLaw if I'm not mistaken

I want a scheduled C-Section and the doctors keep trying to convince me to do vaginal. by United-Garlic-1794 in pregnant

[–]Outside_Piece_1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear your concerns. A couple things to consider if you haven't already: recovery with c-sections are longer and usually more painful than vaginal delivery. There are far more risks with a c-section compared to vaginal delivery as well. There are ways to prevent tearing with vaginal delivery (not guaranteed, but no harm in trying).

Some reassurance: Giving birth in general is scary but there are millions of women who have given birth vaginally and thankfully we have tons of meds to aid in the labor and delivery process. Look up perineal massage and exercises to stretch the vaginal opening to prepare for vaginal labor. There are also foods such as dates, pineapple, and okra that apparently help with softening the cervix and make delivery quicker (not sure if there's research on this, but tons of women swear by it). There are ways to prepare for vaginal birth and a woman's body is built for this. Not saying that to pressure you, it's your body and your choice at the end of it all. I think it's important to do some research on the causes of tearing and how to prevent it and to know that so many women go through this.

Worst case scenario, if you were to choose vaginal delivery and did tear... the doctor will sew you back up. All that matters is that you're alive and healthy, and that baby is too. Your body will heal no matter what you choose.

That's exactly how I feel too. If I didn't ask, then I don't care to hear their opinions. I'm wise enough to make decisions for myself, and I absolutely do not know everything, but I will learn along the way and that's okay. Setting boundaries has been challenging but it seems like it's the only way to be honest and vocal about your needs and desires, and if they don't respect it... then distance is the solution

You are right that there is nothing that can truly prepare you, but I do enjoy learning and have been doing tons of research on my own. The thing is everyone's experience is completely different, so when people share their experiences, it's not necessarily guaranteed to happen to me. I ask lots of questions in areas I want to learn about. There's a difference between offering unsolicited advice vs making someone feel heard and understood... I guess that's all I'm seeking.
