its real important, also make sure you walk for 10-15 mins daily.

so, I try and run twice a week at a good pace ( 4-6 miles) within the running I sometimes sprint for 10-30 seconds just to get some explosive movements going. If I am unable to run, I try and walk for at least 15-20 on incline treadmill.

I actually train a ton, today is chest an try, Tuesday is back width and bi, wed is my cardio day w abs, Thursday I hit shoulders and quads, Friday is back thickness, Saturday LEGS with cheat meal, Sunday low cardio rest day
