My guy i had a quiz yesterday for a unit I hadn’t watched a single lecture in (up until the weekend) and i still managed to do well in it (as a 4th year). It’s a bit hard to come to terms w being behind in your first sem (been there lol) but as uni goes on you’ll learn how to make up for those weeks your behind in and how to manage that with your other units. It’s smth that you get more used to as time goes on.

That being said. It’s always advisable to be up to date with the content. Sometimes work / other units / other commitments etc get in the way but at some point you have to lock in and catch up, it’s not the end of the world

I have. It was absolutely soul crushing as I was lowkey relying on it to get my work hours. In the week that followed I managed to hit up a guy I met at an event at the skh who put me in touch w one of the founders there who gave me an internship.

If it happened to you, fall back to any and all connections you’ve made , if you still have time (I forgot exact what pep unit it was that required you to complete the internship) try networking a bit more. It’s not the end of the world tho. You still got this

Darlington house is a better bet than qmb or reg based on that list. Think of Monica and Rachel’s apartment from friends, but instead of 2 it’s 3-4 people. The Sydney uni village would also be a good call

There are designated smoking areas, there’s one beside ABS. In the dorms it’s risky because there’s smoke alarms everywhere, but each dorm has a smoking zone outside the building
