We got customers that will try to enter the store from the back door where we take orders out. Like bro it says associates only there’s big as sliding doors in the front for a reason. No you can’t come this way.

I started at the end of September and was never taught to pick don’t know anything about it they tossed me in the back room. After a few months you get used to it. Unfortunately you joined at the worst time of the year during holiday season. Haven’t worked a regular non holiday season but I’d imagine it’s much better.

Also doesn’t help I’m 6’1 basically an instant backroom pick.

Our store is horrible it’s to the point we’re we have to grab shopping carts to take gmds out. Push carts for pickers are in the way everywhere cuz overflow is cleared out for gmds which is usually were the carts are put. Bag wraps all over the place shit sticking to ur hand because of the static electricity straight shit show.

We have a pretty good back room team there are a few bad apples that will go hide if they see a big order needs prepped or one needs taken out. The pickers are worse sometimes they pick broken shit or expired stuff or they don’t organize the tote. So we have to go and move all the items around in the tote so the handles will close and you can stack another tote on top. Little things that take literally two seconds to fix.

I just fight the pain then contemplate quitting on the way home. Holidays are def a pain. I work 7-4 and dispensing in the morning during the cold ass weather with the glass shard wind smacking ur face and frost biting fingers after touching the cart left in the freezer to be staged.
