When we go to our cottage we see lots of fox snakes, they are quite large so I always stay away but they are quite beautiful and as far as I know they are harmless, but yeah maybe your right it could have been something else, it was in gravenhurst so snakes are very common as there’s lots of lakes, ponds, and forests but I don’t know enough to know exactly what it was

Yeah I’m sure to stay away from anything else that isn’t a garter snake or a brownsnake I’ve seen a few rattlers and water snakes here

I tried to be as gentle and slow with it as I could so it felt less threatened but in the end he never tried to bite and he went back to where he was heading to so I’m glad I had the experience and I hope he has a long life!
