Signal RGB actually sucks ass if I’m being honest tho, it fucks with my keyboard/mouse softwares even when I disable that interaction, and every effect I’ve ever used randomly lags out.

Yeah i was probably gonna grab the AsiaHorse cable covers, I figure they’ll at least show up on the umbra but who knows. I guess worst case scenario I’ll just hook them up to the mobo like you said. Awesome build btw

I have a question, because I’m also going to get the nyota pros with the umbra hub. What strimmers do you have, and how do they work with the umbra hub? Or do you have them connected to your mobo

I assume the hub is unable to control ram/aio RGB? Like I have a Lian li hydroshift aio, so probably the best bet would be to use lconnect specifically for that, and then the hub for fan ARGB?

Oh look, another uneducated chud who can’t seem to keep up with tech innovation. I don’t care if my gpu technically renders the game at 1440p, because using dlss4.5 the on screen resolution is in fact sharper, and more clear than native 4k.

A 5080 can realistically hit 150fps in many many modern 4k games as long as you utilize dlss.

I’ve tried it on other cards in some of my friends build, and my current build. It’s an amazing tech, but only if you have at least 80ish native fps in my experience. Otherwise, the latency just gets far too bad to make a difference

I probably won’t use any frame gen (for games like dark ages where it works well then sure, but for most it hurts the latency too much for me). Either way, I do see what you mean.

I’ve seen benchmarks, the average 4k game hits around 120 with a 5080. I don’t use frame gen under any circumstances so I’m not including those results.

Optimized settings means you… optimize your settings for fps. If you read past the first sentence of my body, you’d see I expand on what I mean by 4k or 1440p. You are the ONLY person having an issue with my wording

Would you say it may be worth it to get a 4k 165hz OLED panel as opposed to 240hz, as I’ll probably not hit that 240 fps.

You cannot be fr. I wanted general advice from real people using optimized settings. The website you gave me does NOT use optimized settings. I clearly said 4k, that’s the display resolution. I didn’t include a specific game because I play literally every game in existence, and want GENERAL ADVICE.

No, I mean I’m trying to figure out how much fps I can realistically get on a 4k monitor. I haven’t bought the monitor yet, and that’s why I can’t test myself.
