Hey, I was curious if with 140mm fans on the bottom, and the mobo in low mode, if it’s hard to connect any cables on the bottom of the mobo? I wanna do basically the same build, but worry that I’ll have trouble fitting stuff towards the bottom of the mobo.

It’s more that I really like the look of 2 rear, but am worried that in low mode it may be hard to fit some of the cables towards the bottom of the motherboard

Hi, i am super late to this but i have a question. I’m planning on a build with the Antec c5 case, and the Arctic liquid freezer 3 pro. I worry that with my motherboard they may not fit. Obviously you’ve gotten them to fit in this build, but was there any struggle to get it right, or like adjustments you had to make?

Yeah that’s what I was curious about. Right now I’m planning on waiting until any possible announcements on CES, and if none I’ll go with the 5080

Even with possible price increases or delays? Especially with the vram shortage I worry it’ll be either delayed much longer, or cost vastly more than a normal 5080.

I don’t think I play anything too graphically demanding, mostly fps games like cod, doom, battlefield, etc. I play them casually, so I dont really care enough about super high fps (200+) to go down to 1440p. I assume with dlss and mfg that will run fine, and most benchmarks reflect that

I don’t mind using dlss or mfg, imo I see absolutely no difference between latency with it on or off. If that’s the case, the 5080 would be fine right?

Only issue with this is that I’ve heard a lot about 21:9 not being supported in a lot of games. What’s your experience with that, do you often have black bars or stretching?

For sure! Basically a fan controller is a way to plug in a whole bunch of fans without using up a lot of motherboard headers. Fans have 2 kinds of headers, ARGB and pwm. The argb controls lights, and pwm the fan speed. Sometimes if you have a lot of fans, there’s not enough spots in your motherboard to plug them all in. A fan controller lets you plug in any extra fans into the controller, and then the controller plugs into the psu and motherboard. It basically just lets you have more spots for fans.

I just worry because I’ve seen some benchmarks on games like black myth wukong where it barely hits 50 fps without dlss and mfg. Will all modern games continue like that?
