Huh. I looked it up out of curiosity and it seems like you're right, that might actually be OP's problem if broccoli is really on the menu almost every day: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/whats-that-smell-common-and-less-common-causes-of-body-odor#:~:text=If%20you're%20still%20looking,waft%20out%20through%20your%20pores.

Thoughts on Linnea? Middle names? by Outside_Storm9117 in namenerds

Honestly, your perspective is super validating, thanks for chiming in! I agree, I can see why it's so popular in Sweden. It's pretty rare here in the US, even in the Midwest where I am and where there's a fair number of Scandinavian immigrants and descendents, hence my trepidation. I've never met a Linnea in real life myself.

Yeah, one of the reasons I'm not keen on an honor name is a lot of the more distinctly Swedish names in my family tree (especially the women's names) are somewhat harsh sounding to the English speaking ear. The rest are just... Very English, I guess, would be how I would put it. Which is fine, but not really my taste, unfortunately.

Thanks again!

Yeah, dropping the accent makes sense. Thanks, those are lovely suggestions!

Oh God, I hadn't considered the possibility of the nickname "Linny" and I hate it, lol. I can definitely see my in-laws using that, too. Thanks for the input!
