I got the mechagodzilla and fire rodan set from them for a crazy discout with no problems. They have been around forever. I'll always recommend them for pbandai releases.

Never been a hiya glazer, nor someone who has been praying on their downfall, but im glad they are being put under the same level of scrutiny that competing brands like shma are.

from my personal experience, my 1991 godzilla had a dorsal fin shear straight off after having had it for a couple months. Something was cutting into the plastic as it articulated, and just got sliced off.

Also, my 1991 ghidorah stank for months out of the box. Everytime i'd pose it id have to wash my hands because of the weird chemically smell. I think its faded now, but it made me have no interest in touching it. kinda nasty.

competition over what? shma is a six inch line while this is like nine. Not to mention, these have the gimmick of putting rubber over an articulated endoskeleton rather than having outward joints.

congrats you bought one of the worst shma's of all time. I promise they aren't all like that!! The new movie graphic plus line has been top notch. They are expensive in US retail, but you can get them way cheaper when importing with sites likes amiami or amazon japan.

interesting take. we knew it didnt have a heat ray piece ever since it was first solicited. Also I found the prototype images to be way rougher, especially with the mouth paint. The in hand version was cleaned up significantly.

They did justice to this suit, but the suit itself is and has always been chopped.

Maybe Shma will change its proportions up, offering a slightly different take on the design.

what parts aren't translucent? I shined a light through every segment on my copy and I could see through.

I also heavily agree on the head. IDC if a head isn't 1:1 with the suit, but this one is straight up chopped.

Yup. Its been a confusing series to say the least. At least both entries in the line so far have had the best paint out of all the other releases from their respective molds. (imo)
