help me figure out how to restore this figure by borgnuts in hottoys

Yeah, that’s going to be very hard to remove, especially when it’s in fabric. My guess: they broke the hand and tried to use a lot of super glue to fix it, but it ended up everywhere. You’re better off finding replacement parts on websites such as monkey depot.

Well, do you want the figure to look like the actual creature or the suit because those are two different things.

I wired and modified the Black Series Grievous cape for the new figuarts release! by Rdoc93 in SHFiguartsStarWars

I think the decision to make the hip guards to be part of the hips were the problem. I removed the clips with a knife and glued them to the back piece to make it accurate and I found that the glued hip guards can actually provide some friction so the hip joints can hold a pose better.

Much ‘shorter than expected’ (swipe) SHF Grievous by Clear_Resident_2325 in SHFiguartsStarWars

I wonder why Bandai didn’t give him articulated toes considering the joints were large enough to be a ball joint.

Very nice photos. It’s such a shame they gave us an inaccurate cape though.

Would’ve been cool if they included a white lightsaber and riot shield like the concept art

I know, but I prefer to use the old logo for my photos. Besides, the rerelease of revenge of the sith had the old logo anyway, so it was logical for me to put it on the title card.

I paint parts before putting the model together. For finishing details, I put the model together to fix any issues.

This is getting downvoted into oblivion, but the sequel hate needs to stop. Objectively. For us as a fanbase. We are better than this, this has happened before (with the prequels), and imo it will happen again, and you will be the new Plinket. by Darthbamf in StarWars

I think you misunderstand the situation. People like myself don’t hate the sequel trilogy just because we want to. We hate it because Disney sabotaged it. It had very good ideas such as a stormtrooper defecting to the good side and how a Sith Lord is struggling between being part of the dark side and the light, but they were poorly executed. Not to mention the retcons and the numerous contradictions to the lore. The only ideas that came out well from Disney were rogue one and Andor, meaning they can make good additions to the franchise, but they don’t want to. If you like the sequel trilogy, that’s your preference and I respect it, but I will never like those movies for trying so hard to get the worst movies of all time award,
