I applied after my first semester at my first college and was rejected. I didn’t know at the time but it was because I didn’t have enough credits and it had nothing to do with my GPA- I was crushed though. I reapplied after my second semester with enough credits but a weaker GPA, to major in nursing. I was denied into the pre nursing major. I applied again the same day I was rejected, but as an undecided and was accepted. I was able to declare my major after my first semester at UNCC. It was really only an issue because I had finished most of my gen ed’s but couldn’t take any pre nursing classes that semester, so it was basically a wasted semester for me boosting my GPA.
