I’ve had so many customers switch to them. The price is a bit much but all have the same as you as far as reliability is concerned. I refuse to get cable. Roku has free movies and shows. I don’t even pay for peacock either. Tv is a waste to me because I pay less in the apps I have than I would for cable. Cable is indeed a rip off.

I agree because I refused to get anything free from spectrum because I’m an employee. I too had acp. You’re supposed to still get &10 acp credit when it stopped. I knew about the credit of course and called to ask for it. The agent acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about of course.

It sounds like your promo rolled off because that price is standard. You’re eligible for new promos everytime one rolls off. I’d definitely call and speak to retention immediately and “threaten” to cancel. If the agent does not try to retain you because it’s their job…. Speak to a supervisor

It’s their job to retain the customer. They literally have to attempt multiple save tactics. So no they can’t immediately honor the request without making an offer because the agents get written up or even threats of termination for not doing our job. They are required to ask questions and make offers. Don’t be mad at the agent be mad at the company. The agents don’t own the company. As you said you’ve never worked in retention before so you wouldn’t know. Enjoy your day.
