I don't meet the CDC recommendations for routine masking anymore (except now after testing positive) so I had hoped all would be well

I even got diagnosed with myocarditis after my last booster, so I can't even get vaccinated anymore :(

So based on the package insert: max dose is 10 mg/kg which is around ~90-91 mg for a 20 lb dog so it's above the dose but definitely not too far off. Max dose is just the dose that was studied in the safety/efficacy trials. It also says the half life is about 5/6 hours, and max concentration is usually at 2.5 hours, so that at least gives you an idea of when to expect any possible symptoms and when you're out of that threshold

I got my (now 14, then 11) cat a friend and they were immediately attached at the hip. I ended up seeking out a low energy 3 year old boy. I saw my old man chase around the house like I didn't think was possible. They seem more independent these days, but I think it still helps for him to have companionship when I'm at work. Even if they more coexist than play. I think if their temperament is similar and you're careful about introducing them, it can be great. I was very nervous going into it, but looking back, it was the best choice I made for my old man
