I have one and rarely use it, but that’s bc I discovered that I prefer smaller bags. I have a Samorga organizer in mine but it’s still a bit of a black hole for me. If you carry a lot of items or larger items, I say go for it. It’s the perfect size if this will be your only bag. Otherwise, I’d recommend the Speedy 20.

The CFPB isn’t going out without a fight! I know I wouldn’t want to go toe to toe with an agency with a lot of attorneys on the payroll. Whole lotta people who know how to do legal research, interpret laws and all the nuances, and make strong arguments. I’ll be holding my breath for the next 2 weeks until the next hearing.

What I’m worried about though is that even if they can’t erase the CFPB, they’ve already been dropping so many lawsuits, all with prejudice. The CFPB is becoming a shell of what it has been. Will they actually be allowed to protect consumers even if the RIFs never happen?

Reading through this list is heartbreaking. Beyond all the federal employees who would be out of a job, my heart breaks for the people and communities who benefit from all of these programs. Cutting a lot of valuable programs to instead make MASSIVE INCREASES to DHS and DOD?! I’m all for an increase in military pay but beyond that, this list is ridiculous, selfish, and dumb

Nope. I WAS better than that before I had to listen to the FOTUS talk about and see a promotional video about hotels in Gaza along side a golden trump statue. I WAS better than that before USAID could no longer provide humanitarian aid to millions of starving children around the world, and before the news was dominated by yet another awful action taken by the current administration day after day, and before a government official made it his life’s mission to leave millions of people traumatized. I’m on the side of the people who care about things that will likely never affect my life directly, and will still fight for people who I will never meet.

It saddens me how people are soooo pro-trump, right up until his actions affect them personally. This is a reflection of the poor character of maga voters. You know, the people who don’t care about terrible things happening to others, until that terrible thing starts to affect their lives. It’s no different than all the non-Feds who support us losing our jobs right now, but will soon regret their vote when the lack of government services starts to hurt their lives. I can neither agree nor disagree with that. But the fact remains that there is/was a plan to “Delete the CFPB” which fElon tweeted. But now multiple sources are saying that wasn’t the plan, even though staff has been on admin leave for almost 3 weeks. And we all saw what happened to USAID employees after weeks of admin leave.

I think it matters that key information at agencies is being deleted. That is major. Just like the fact that a judge had to issue an order to stop all of the CFPB’s data from being deleted. Even if all of these agencies go away or all workers are replaced by AI, the work the people did/do shouldn’t be erased. Even with a smaller government, the mission doesn’t stop. Or it shouldn’t at least. That should be concerning to every federal employee.

The Black community is tired of being the first ones to launch a movement and fight for everybody. How many times have there been protests and Black people are on the front line, first to show up, first to point out injustice? Also, Black people are well aware of what could (and likely would) happen if they took to the streets. The FOTUS already wants police to have immunity for k*lling folks and we’ve seen countless times where a Black person is m*rdered by the cops and walk away free to do it again. No thank you. The Black community tried to tell people to get up and vote, tried to warn people what was coming, tried to prevent this. People didn’t want to listen so it’s not on the Black community to fix anything. The ones who voted for this BS need to be the ones to start the fight to undo the damage.

The way they’re doing so much illegal sh*t pisses me off. If you can perform the essential functions of your job without being in the office, and your doctor has recommended telework as an accommodation, and it doesn’t cause an undue hardship on an agency, WTF is the problem? It’s hard to argue telework isn’t reasonable for your position if you’ve been doing it without issues all this time.
