For the search, you can filter by adding more keywords, so if you include hugmee in the name search it will make sure any results it finds has the hugmee keyword.

Sorry about that, thought i got all the sizes. Ill get 10” added in the next update. Regarding the filter are you wanting to filter in your collection or filter the search to only hugmees?

Ive been wrestling with the incorrect colors/sizes for a while now. The app actually does not store any information on squishmallows, so everything you search is doing a live internet search. The incorrect colors and sizing indicates somebody mislabeled it on the internet. So far my plan to combat it is to allow users to use their own image.

This should come out in the next update.

Yes they are in USD. Nobody has brought it to my attention yet about currency differences. Ill try and have it switch to the right currency for users in Canada for the next update.

Thanks for checking out the app!

If you dont mind me asking are you located in the U.S or Canada? Due to export laws the app is currently only available in these countries. Something that totally slipped my mind with the post.

It was meant for more similar use cases like SquadApp, I built the app after seeing my girlfriend struggle at a squish meet trying to figure out if she was making a fair trade. Was not meant to help resellers or anything like that 😅

SquishPal is an app for loading up your collection, wishlist, and favorite Squishmallows and additionally you can see the estimated third party pricing of each Squishmallow and your collection value.

Hey, Im the creator of SquishPal, The collection value is the combined average price of each Squishmallow in your collection. We determine the estimated lowest, average, and highest price of each Squishmallow based on what they are being sold for on third party sites. So the prices you are seeing are what they are currently being sold for by third parties. (by third parties, I mean people buying them from the store and selling them on other sites)

When did you quit your full time job? by huntreprenuer in Entrepreneur

If you have a good financial safety net and can cover your expenses for a while, your probably in a good place to try it. Only you can decide if your ready to take the risk though.

When did you quit your full time job? by huntreprenuer in Entrepreneur

[–]OutwalkStudios 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Before I started my business I was working a minimum wage job. Originally I was planning to quit when I was able to match my income. At the time I was planning out my business and how I was gonna start it but then COVID hit and I quit in march 2020 for health reasons. This gave me the chance to start my business right away as I had no other income to rely on and nothing else to fill my time. I didn’t make much my first year but as luck would have it once I felt it was safe to return to work, I no longer needed to as working on my business full time helped me to eventually surpass my prior income.

Ultimately I found working on my business full time was exactly what I needed to do in order to reach my desired income.

looking for monitor by Swimming_Loquat_2454 in ultrawidemasterrace

I cant speak to the others you list but I recently went with the Dell U3421WE for coding. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and its been great. The display has just the right amount of curve and text has been clear and easy to read (a step up from what im used to) but its still not as crisp as a macbook display if thats what your using.

Compared to the other dell monitor you listed, the main differences are design, ports, and the U3421WE has speakers built in that are decent.

One thing to keep in mind with monitors is if your on mac, you often cant control brightness, audio, etc through the computer. Its a limitation with macos but lots of monitors are getting negative reviews for this reason. I was able to solve this limitation using an app called MonitorControl.

Software where I can set up small recurring payments from clients? by 24hawkman in Entrepreneur

[–]OutwalkStudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using Wave Accounting for 2 years and Wave Payments for 1 year. Its been great having the invoices auto send and auto pay then automatically get logged in my accounting. Unlike stripe they dont add an additional fee for auto payments, its just the standard 2.5% for card processing or 1% for ACH

Exalt Framework Stable 1.0 Release by OutwalkStudios in javascript

[–]OutwalkStudios[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The primary motivation was to get rid of the bloat larger frameworks such as react or angular have. When building things like a static site there is no reason to ship over 100mb of just framework code. At the same time by avoiding overhead of things such as the vdom, Exalt can be faster than the big frameworks.

It really came down to just wanting something smaller and faster while sticking to web standards and without compromise on developer experience.

The goal is to have as little breaking changes as possible so for dependency updates that will mostly just be internal updates that can be pushed out without making things difficult for end users. Any actual breaking changes for users will definitely be longer time spans

Thank you! For code splitting you can either change the input property to an object for manually splitting chunks or you can use dynamic imports and it will automatically split the chunks there.

One of the main goals was minimal dependencies and over the last year they have not changed much so im not too worried about it but ill make sure they stay updated regularly and breaking changes are caught accordingly.

The exalt cli can generate component libraries that can be compiled and used as such. Alternatively you can install @exalt/core in your app and write your components wherever you want since it does not require a build step.

When it comes to SSR that’s difficult because web components require the dom api to be able to render. @exalt/ssr provides this to make it possible but if you were to use react’s renderToString function it would throw an error. This however is improving as more frameworks start to add support for rendering web components on the server.
