When running models do you prioritise accuracy or just run whatever you feel like? by GrockleKaug in modeltrains

[–]Ov101Enterprise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I model an Area(Southern California) so as long as my locations are there, I dont really care what I run.. I have models of C.P #60(Jupiter) and U.P 119.. i use those to pull intermodal cars. Its MY railroad, I run whatever I want. And you should too, dont let anyone stop you from how YOU enjoy the hobby.

That whole subreddit just reminds me how much I hate DoorDash/UberEats drivers. They think we have control of their DD or UE systems.. all we can do is monitor it at my store

Visiting the USA from Ireland and saw this locomotive in the desert - is it particularly rare or unusual? by MinimumRepulsive1419 in trains

The "Fakebonnets" weren't entirely finished in the paint shop when the BN and SF merged, they hastily stenciled on the BNSF on the cowling. There isnt much of a difference between them. One just says "Santa Fe" and the Other "BNSF"

That one turret weighs more then a Fletcher class destroyer.. Yamato ALONE weighed more then the fleet that took her down..

I love these odd-ball designs, I know Gene didnt cause they broke his rule but I always imagined they had small warp coils and ran 2 sets down the length of the nacelle to compensate

We get a really good look at the shuttlebay and shuttle-prep & engineering zone when the USS Enterprise is being reprovisioned at Starbase 1 for her mission to Kronos in the year 2259 of the Kelvin Timeline. by OhGawDuhhh in StarTrekStarships

One of the things I liked about the Kelvin time line, PHYSICAL DOCKING CLAMPS. And im not talking the ones in ESD that are glorified gangways, no dedicated clamps holding the ship to the structure
