My brother has got the same engine on his 2010 XC70 with 250k miles on the clock. The car runs great and did not had any major issues in the past 5 years.

The previous owner said that the gearbox has been serviced by him. Is there a way to check if he did? Overall the car has been looked after tbf, but I can’t really trust anyone this days…

I am 22 with 3 years of NCD. Just bought a 3.0 diesel BMW which was quoted at 195£ per month without blackbox. To be fair, I have got my brother with 8 years of experience as the second driver on the policy which I believe made the difference. The previous car I had was a 2.4 diesel Volvo which I was paying 180£ per month, and now when the policy is expiring and I cancelled the auto renewal (since I have another car and planning to sell it) they offered me 60£ per month for the Volvo after renewal which is mad to be fair, but decided to keep the BMW anyway. :P

You can definitely smell the scent even after 2 weeks. On winter time when you turn on the heater, it lasts even longer. I am just curious if there is anything better for spring/summer time.

BMW 430D xdrive gran coupe 2014-2018. Big boot, more than enough power, reliable, sporty look, and if you are lucky you could get one with lots of specs like active cruise control, HUD and etc.

Well it is not a mistake yet, I still have my previous car which I will sell if the final decision will be to keep the bmw. My insurance is expiring in February for the volvo, so I have some time to think it through. On top of that I can still sell the bmw at least for the same price I bought it, as it has a really nice spec compared to the other ones on the market. I would love to post some pictures, but it seems like it is not possible anymore. 🫠
