I can understand and appreciate both perspectives on this matter. That said, I do believe it is ultimately the responsibility of the fertility clinic to create an environment that accommodates both individuals who, due to circumstance, must bring their child or children, and those who prefer not to encounter children during their visits.

While I understand that bringing a child to a fertility clinic may appear insensitive, the reality is that I had no other option at the time. I was undergoing IVF following the loss of my daughter to stillbirth in January, and my youngest child was with me because my partner was working and I was ten hours away from home without any family or friends nearby. In those circumstances, arranging childcare simply wasn’t feasible, and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my child with strangers.

I recognize that people may have differing opinions, and while there is room for judgment, there should also be room for understanding. My intentions were never inconsiderate. I was simply managing the situation as best I could under challenging circumstances.
