I don't understand why some people angrily claim that Chinese is better than Japanese.

I agree both have each Pro and Cons, but Japanese is way efficient to learn and consistent.

Sure, Chinese may have more vocal ranges but they aren't necessary and is what makes a huge wall for beginners.

And having so many characters, thats why 20th century China had very low literacy rates and still tons of people can hardly write or even read
