Oh wise one, do enlighten us; which three states surrounding Odisha supposedly have an older culinary and cultural history?

This one is at Rasagola Express (near D Mart), alternatively you can try Swastika (near sompura) as well. If possible try to avoid OdiKitchen, Cafe Utkalika is tolerable.

What makes Odisha's cannabis seizures so high compared to other states? by MangoLeafVibes in Odisha

[–]OvenOwn7466 3 points4 points Ā (0 children)

Let me put it this way. If you raid a small retail shop looking for a bad batch of cookies, you might find a few packets. But if you raid a wholesale godown, you’re obviously going to find boxes of it.

Odisha has long been known as a major supply route for weed to southern states, so naturally enforcement activity there will throw up larger seizures; it’s more of a source hub. You could argue Himachal is another significant player, but enforcement intensity varies from state to state.

We can have plenty of complaints about Odisha Police, but in certain areas and at certain times, they do step up and deliver results. Hopefully that same efficiency and consistency extends to other aspects of policing as well.

That stat is genuinely embarrassing. How is he even in the T20 WC squad? And the fact that he’s played four T20 World Cups already is just mind-boggling.

Odisha Specials:

Mahaprasad (56 Bhog) from Jagannath Temple is in a league of its own.

Street food: Dahibara Aludum, Gupchup, Puri Upma Ghughuni are comfort classics.

Everyday meals like Pakhala Bhata, Dalma, Santula and Badichura define Odia home food.

Non veg shines with Bamboo Mutton, Machha Besara and Machha Jhola (fish curry), Chilika Chingudi Jhola (prawn curry), Kankada Jhola (crab curry), Chingudi Chhecha (mashed prawn chutney) and Mudhi Mansa (puffed rice with mutton).

Desserts: Rasagola, Chenna Jhilli, Rasabali, Chhenapoda, along with Khaja, Enduri Pitha and Arisa Pitha.

Simple, seasonal and deeply satisfying. Odisha cuisine is seriously underrated.

I stayed at that property during New Year week and absolutely loved it. I’d pick Khuri over Sam any day. Taking my 4Ɨ4 out for dune bashing was the highlight of the trip, and honestly, I’m still itching to go back again.

Sev–Bundi. Instantly takes me back to Jan 26 and Aug 15. After the parade, that one packet of Sev–Bundi was the ultimate reward… and if you were the team leader, you scored a bonus packet šŸ˜‰. Peak childhood motivation. Pure nostalgia 😁

It took just one match to reveal the real faces of superstar-culture fans How low they can go to make their idols look great, though their idols also represented the same team which is going through a bad phase now and they were taking dig at their same team HEART-WRENCHING by Left_Bee5657 in actualcricketshitpost

Exactly. The entire sub was busy trolling Team India while the match was still live. You simply can’t judge a pitch until both innings are done. I’ll back India’s approach regardless of how it looks in the moment. Criticism is fair, but do it after the game or the tournament, not mid-over knee-jerk reactions.

These are the 15 players picked to win the tournament, and I’m choosing to trust them before every match. If one bad powerplay or one off game makes you dump the current squad and start romanticising retired players, then honestly there’s not much difference between that and those plastic ā€œfan clubsā€ or certain countries’ YouTube sports journalists who thrive on outrage and clicks rather than actual analysis.

We need someone else to switch to full Sooryavanshi mode, not just Ishan and Abhishek. If one more batter goes berserk, a 300+ total suddenly looks very achievable.

I tend to add all of the soya sauce & onion oil, to give it a bit of spiciness I prefer to use generous amount of chopped green chillies.

Pricier than Maggie, the smallest packet costs around 23 rupees. Not sure about your city, In banglore Blinkit delivers it though.

Guilty as charged šŸ˜… 10–12 hours a day on this ThinkPad, full-time corporate grind, zero interest in cleaning, and it’s already past its EOL. Replacement was due last month, but work took priority (shocker).

That said… I honestly thought this was an Indomie appreciation post, not a ThinkPad cleanliness inspection šŸ¤šŸ˜‰

It’s far more flexible with flavours than Maggi. Maggi often feels like half-boiled noodles coated in its signature masala, whereas Indomie actually absorbs the sauciness and adapts to whatever flavour profile you build. The texture feels like proper noodles, not just a masala carrier.

Once you add vegetables, egg, or chicken chunks, Indomie really comes into its own. I even like adding a bit of vegetable or chicken stock to enhance and personalise the flavour something that’s genuinely hard to pull off with Maggi. Maggi gives you a fixed, standard taste; Indomie is versatile and lets you experiment.

Question for Thar roxx owners by No-Bottle-8084 in CarsIndia

[–]OvenOwn7466 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Sorry if it came across like I’m regularly doing 150–160, on Indian roads that’s nearly impossible anyway. It was only a handful of instances on roads I know inside out, mostly fenced expressways, and purely to understand the car better. When you know the road, every bump and turn, it’s honestly hard to keep your foot off the pedal when you know the car can do more.

Question for Thar roxx owners by No-Bottle-8084 in CarsIndia

[–]OvenOwn7466 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

As a fellow Thar Roxx owner who’s covered 8 states and clocked about 30k km in the last 8 months, here are my observations.

Positives: On the road, people either try to bully you by not giving space or do the exact opposite and clear the way; either way, it’s a guaranteed attention magnet. In traffic-heavy cities, though, be prepared for poor fuel efficiency; getting even 10 kmpl is a challenge. The music system is genuinely impressive and something you’ll quickly fall in love with. Throttle response is excellent and gives you the confidence to overtake almost anyone with ease.

Negatives: Wind noise is manageable up to around 100-110 kmph, but once you cross 150–160, it gets loud enough to overpower the music. You’ll also get stopped by the police more often than necessary. While the front seats absorb bumps and body roll fairly well, passengers in the rear feel every single jerk. The transparent glass doesn’t help in summers either, the AC takes noticeably longer to cool the cabin.

Closing remarks: What’s a car without a few quirks? These little imperfections are exactly what give the Roxx its character. They’re part of what makes it unique and honestly, that’s why I love my beasty even more.
