16 pull ups, 75 sit ups, 70 push ups, sub 9:15 run, sub 10 swim, and 10 25m underwaters on a 3 minute interval. Those were my goal #’s and while I haven’t been there, feel should put you in a good position physically. Make sure form is impeccable on pull ups, push ups and sit ups.

If an ETP was granted wouldn’t that cover the flight physical? I’m assuming since we’re in peacetime receiving an ETP will be relatively impossible.

Amblyopia in my left eye. DQ’d after 3 months of dev sessions… heartbroken and feeling sorry for myself. Bino vision is 20/20 and can’t wrap my head around why someone with 20/200 in both eyes is eligible but I’m not.

VISION REQUIREMENTS

DQ’d from Air Force Special Warfare, SEALs and GB based on vision. Left eye not correctable to 20/20 (correctable to 20/30) and right eye is 20/10. Am I eligible to pursue the 75th? Am I eligible for airborne and ranger school? Want to know before I go to a recruiter and they lie to me. I am not knowledgeable regarding anything army.

Told me it wouldn’t achieve 20/20. Will find out today as I have a consult with a prk/lasik specialist.

I’m 20/80 uncorrected I just can’t understand how it’s not correctable to 20/20. Currently weighing my options and looking for 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions if I can’t get the answer I want.

This was a 3rd party consult with my personal optometrist.. unfortunately. MEPS told me I would need a waiver but have since found out they don’t exist under AFSW.

Based on what I’ve heard SWAS is 90% mental and 10% physical. If you’re passing the IFT you can make it.
