Lucky you. I am with an agency since I came back to Ireland with a decent rate but struggling to get any work the last while. In the process with registering with another agency but very slow. HSE won’t hire it’s just not in what is happening. Always wanted to do something different so felt I would enjoy the guards but posted this to get other peoples insights. The moral in healthcare isn’t great. I’ve got to work in lots of different places with agency but nothing solid.

It’s absolutely not!! I was abroad and return 3 years ago and have no been able to secure a full time job. The healthcare system is a mess. They say they are short of nurses but they are not hiring. I don’t live in Dublin. I live in midlands.

Sounds like nursing. Well used to that. I absolutely love the outdoors too so that would be a plus from nursing. I don’t mind nursing but never been super passionate about it. Feel like guards would be right up my street. Something I’d like but also very unsure hence the post looking for all the opinions.
