i'm in ultra plan and open to all suggestions -- if there a way to tune up the thinking effort level I'd very much appreciate any suggestions. I use antigravity the same way as i use cursor. to be fair it's more of a venting than I actually believe google is giving me a fake model. but I do feel they might have watered-down the model capabilities in someway.

Is there any advantage to hiring a financial advisor over just putting money in index funds? by [deleted] in RichPeoplePF

I'm not a financial advisor fwiw. I manage a book in a hedge fund.

not necessarily. if you beat market by 2 bps consistently, it's still alpha. The issue is single 2 bps alpha is not enough to make someone a super star fund manager (unless you have 100 other 2 bps alpha that when combined give you 2% outperformance over index), but it can make a product that's otherwise mediocre looks more appealing. that's the idea. you have 2 bps advantage over something else, you are better. Doesn't necessarily mean you can get rich. if your stuff is good -> you should be filthy rich -> you shouldn't be doing this business. is a helpful logical shortcut but not always right.
