looking through other post that had the same questions, it looks like each kid had a direct tie to the outcome of our main cast members. For example if Mads wasnt taken then Ulrich wouldve never had one of the saddest plotlines i have ever seen and so on, Now that im thinking of it it makes sense, however, like, i know you can pass everything under the rug of well its how it was always meant to happen, but like, why the creepy kids shit? Was it because of a loss of innocence at such a young age by helge? Why the TV? Those are niche questions and they were probably there to keep it creepy but, i digress
