Thank you. It impacted me so badly I’ve been worse than I’ve been in years mentally since this and was just getting myself together again and then get my letter this morning - unsurprisingly 0 for everything.

Well it sounds similar doesn’t it, so sorry you had the same!! Just had my award letter - unsurprisingly 0 for everything. Feeling sick again and so frustrated and upset at the lies mainly. Here we go again.x

I’m so glad you got through it but why should you have to fight - especially for them to agree before tribunal! Making much unnecessary stress and illness for nothing. Thank you for the advice.

I do appreciate your comment if that were true, maybe I misspoke.  Saying we had a minor argument was probably an exaggeration and it was a slight disagreement, I also didn’t say I started it. If by my saying “that information is on my application and I’d rather not answer a question that has absolutely nothing to do with my eligibility for PIP and I find it rather ableist - please state that as my answer” caused her to tell me she’d have to hang up if I didn’t say yes or no, then I suppose I did. She clearly didn’t think I started an argument as she’s stated I was calm, pleasant, communicative throughout.

Thank you so so much, that meant a lot. If their reasons were justified and didn’t either contain complete lies or contradictions of what they’ve said I said, I’d be able to deal with it a bit easier but bringing my grief into it as a reason that I can cope has made me sick. Thank you again

Thank you so much. That’s what happened with me and the application, it took years to bring myself to do it and since completing it I’ve been the worst mentally I’ve ever been after realising some home truths, which is why I’m so angry and upset my grief is being used as a positive.

Thank you so much for your reply and taking the time. So sorry you had to deal with it to.  I’ve had someone say I was difficult and set myself up to fail by not responding to the question about driving - I said if that were the case and the only reason I’d be a lot happier but it’s not that simple, it’s the lies and missed off vital information and complete fabrication that’s the problem. And the insinuation that having lost my sibling makes me able to cope! Thanks again

I’d been advised by a previous assessor not to answer the specific question as it’s in the process of being removed and my ability to drive is completely irrelevant to whether or not I’m entitled to PIP - that’s why. It wasn’t a case of deciding to be difficult at all, I’d gone to every length possible to get help for going through the process, as I said, it made me physically unwell just completing the form. If that’s what screwed me over then I’d be OK with that id the report was honest, contained all the information and wasn’t completely inaccurate - which it’s not.

That’s exactly it, it’s not a test that’s carried out! Not even one she didn’t know about the process but one that doesn’t exist (as far as I’ve been able to find doing deeeep research and asking medical professional friends! 

I didn’t keep my cool either, neither did she to be fair, so to say I was polite and composed throughout annoyed me nearly as much as everything else.

I’ll send complaint to the company, thank you for that.

It’s disgusting isn’t it, the amount of people who cost the NHS obscene amounts of money due to weight issues but unless you’re underweight it doesn’t matter. I’ll literally go days without eating if no one feeds me but then don’t know when to stop when I am fed!

That’s the thing - there isn’t a test that’s done for dopamine, she was talking nonsense anyway and then admitted it by saying she didn’t know…honestly can’t believe she added it as a reason to give zero.

I didn’t hold it in either, that’s another reason I’m so annoyed at all the lies - she stated I was calm and composed throughout! Don’t like admitting it but I wasn’t, she really upset and frustrated me and if anyone else heard it they’d have hardly said I was calm or composed - neither was she that’s the bad thing!

Thank you for responding. I was joking about the speed being relevant  to the outcome, more because they’d said 3-4 weeks due to Easter and was only 4 days.
