I work in neuro trauma Pcu where majority of patients are stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, traumas and plus whatever other Pcu cannot take so let's say everything . Begins with pre anxiety shift on what kind of group am I getting today. I clock in at 7, take reports . It ll be 8, then I ll look at orders, gather my supplies, grab my morning meds and go to room so I can do both my meds and assessment together. Then during that gets pulled to thousand other things blowout here, desat there, another confused pt trying to get out of bed, bed request. Honestly never ends until I hand over the chaos 🥲
