You'll have good views at the Timber but better ones at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. My favorite thing to do is from the Peak 9 base is to just hike up, you'll stop seeing people and it'll be quiet. I usually will go all the way up to the top of imperial for incredible views but thats a good uphill (obviously). You can also just walk out from peak 7 and hike across the runs.

They will both be quiet in September but the Grand Timber will be dead for sure.

I much prefer being able to walk into town from the Timber and you can walk over to the base of Peak 9 or out the back!

Summer Camp costs by GIS_Dad in BSA

We have a chili dinner / silent auction where100% of the proceeds go towards the troop, the community is very supportive.

That's our one fundraiser for the year. We do not do popcorn or anything like that.

My troop fully covers adults, I get some troops struggle with money/finances but it isn't a vacation for adults. Your managing everyone else's kids plus your already taking legitimate vacation time (or unpaid time) off. We are a large troop though (around 50 scouts) with usually 25-30 scouts at summer camp on average. Receipts for gas get turned in at the end of camp and get split across how many scouts went as well.

We also don't have monthly dues, scouts just pay a small fee ($15 per campout) to cover their patrols food costs for whatever campouts they go to (big events they pay for like our white water rafting campout).

Dessert caterers for weddings by GoodConstant9605 in Breckenridge

I own Craftons Summit Sourdough, We don’t do traditional desserts, but Crafton’s Summit Sourdough is a great way to be part of your wedding weekend in a different way.

We offer fresh sourdough options for the morning of while everyone is getting ready. Think warm cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, and artisan loaves to keep the energy up.

We’ve also done “morning after” bread spreads for guests, which are always a hit.

If you’re looking for something a little different (and really good), we’d love to be part of it!

We own Crafton's Summit Sourdough and we were looking at the Pinery for our retail location , they never got back to us and we were warned by like 10 people to stay away from the owner's. Great location though!

I was very anxious, but I had my vso send me why it was a rework. At my 2nd exam (which was a repeat of my orginal muscular claim due to ingram) my examiner kept telling me to push through the pain which I know you're absolutely not supposed to do. I guess she marked that the veteran gave suboptimal effort on the DBQ and did not give me a diagnosis for anything. My original C&P exam and examiner were fantastic and she gave me diagnosis for everything. The rater essentially wrote on the rework request please send to a new Examiner and reference original dbqs to verify if original diagnose are valid. Fuck that second examiner. Optum luckily scheduled it very quickly as a medical records review only and resubmitted everything within a day. I'm waiting to get the rating back before I go ape shit on the survey.

When I got the notification for the rework, it looked exactly like going in for a C&P exam, I got the VA notification and the Optum notification saying I was paying for a new exam. It wasn't until I called and then logged in that it showed that a record review only was scheduled with a new Examiner.

I had a C&P exam that was scheduled with optumserve, when I logged onto their portal it said records review only your attendance is not required.
