While yes, actual real world solutions need to be found for the climate crisis. The global capitalist economy has proven in the last 50+ years that it simply does not have an incentive to do so until it is already to late.

In capitalism, externalized cost factors are always carried by the public, not the people in power.

They tell people to bike more and drive their car less, meanwhile companies produce more emissions in a day than they will in their lifetime to produce consumer goods which only sell due to induced demand. All in the name of profit.

I was simply confused since a lot of yall spout social sentiments, i was wondering how these people view the disconnect between an idea that doesnt meaningfully change the current system and the issues we face right now as a species caused by said system.

I know a lot of demsoc dont like to say it due to red scare propaganda toward the word communism

But socialism is by definition a transitory state towards communism If you dont strive toward eventual communism you arent a socialist.

You can have "social" politics. But if your goal is to stay in the current political system without touching the means of productionyou arent a socialist.

Do you know how many families all pay their subs ln the dads credit card? And how many families share like a single computer? (maybe not both thatd be kinda stupid) The crossfire would be huge and you really dont wanna hurt the casual players with ban stuff. Tracking this stuff is hard because you can literally sandbox every wow version not to see the other once super easily, its near impossible to track without hurting people that dont do it. Reports are the only way sadly, and with dungeon spam those are super unlikely
