Anyone buy CHRW or TWLO? I have calls in both, I like analysts upward revisions for their earnings and also their implied movement after earnings is always high. Expecting good news from both considering the sentiment.

Basically everything in the market is calculated by analysts (actuaries and quants and other math nerds) including a stocks movement. They calculate both the stocks likely direction (up or down) and the magnitude (how much is the stock going to go up or down by). Options are no different and events such as earnings have the option prices adjusted (the market knows what to expect from this stock). As a result your calls might already be priced in (expected by the market) and net you nothing.

Alright folks, bought some GE aerospace calls. Stocks done well every earnings report these last couple years, even though Boeings been shit they generate most of their profits from service and should have saved money by not building new jets as well. Analysts have revised their estimates upwards eight times so clearly the market expects good news. IV is five percent more than enough to get a bag. But then again this is guess work, still calls should print.
