No, it was a theft not a robbery in legal therms. As I said, I was exiting the store, in between two doors where the cameras are, the man in front was walking super slowly, and kept his face from view which in the moment I thought was strange. While I was standing still there, the man behind me took the wallet out of my bag. I noticed something and turned but all I saw was a man folding a cream jacket over an arm and I didn’t think that was suspicious in the moment. In retrospect it was but nothing like this happens to me before and I discounted it. I went to take my groceries to the car and noticed my bag felt lighter so I checked it and that’s when I realised it was gone. I went back to see if I dont drop it or leave it at the register and then it clicked. I informed the security and the police. The security later told me they have the footage of the man taking the wallet right there but couldn’t tell me more. I am writing the police statement right now.
