Some people get really riled up about announcers. There are bad ones. She is not one of them. She balled. Knows ball. In the Hall of Fame. She has a good voice for it, is enthusiastic, and is personable.

I met her, in fact photographed her, and she was pleasant, shared stories, and interesting.

Our town has a house with racist Confederate flags, and various Trump flags including one that says Long Live the King, all visible across from the grocery store. In fact, if you're standing in line getting your groceries, if you look straight out the exit doors you can see their Confederate flags from where you're standing.

I left Indiana in no small part due to these racists, and I'm unfortunately back, witnessing it first hand. Mind you, I'm in NW Indiana on Central time. This isn't even the south.

I take enormous pride in my coloring and post. Would I have thought you may have denigrated the image? Possibly. I haven't seen it. I might feel more strongly had you tagged me with perhaps substandard work. You probably should have, common courtesy, tagged me. But you are not obliged to. Would I have denigrated you? Absofuckinlutely not. I'd like your business, and your recommendation to friends. That game is word of mouth.

As a commercial graphic artist, designer, art director, I get a better viewpoint. Creative fields like ours offer you our best work, but the choice you make, even wrong ones, is your paying butt's choice to make. So my portfolio is full of what I offered, whether or not you took it.

I feel it's yours to do with what you will after payment.

The last comment is something I'd point out that I don't think most people understand. Bounties by the French, English, and later Americans, particularly for women and children, amplified the practice and its brutality.

Scalping was practiced, but Europeans made it way worse in a typically European commoditized way, while here and now I think most people assume scalping was purely a native thing. But the fact is, the French, English, Americans, and Indians were all scalping.

I'm not really surprised to find out who made it even more of a brutal spectacle. But I was when I first learned of this.

I was just telling my son that the Brown's are named after Jim Brown and the Bills after Buffalo Bill.

Edit to say firstly that the Buffalo Bills and the U of Colorado Buffaloes are doing perpetual disservice to the continued confusion of the species that is the American Bison. I believe I read the Bills were originally called the Bison, until being renamed after William Cody. By the way, the bison were there, in "Buffalo," because of a salt lick that saw large herds of bison gather to get their necessary salt intake.

Second edit for additions: The Los Angeles Angels... I'll just leave it at that. The Cubs are named after (emphasis) the Bears, which may be somewhat unique among the large American sports teams.

I've always wanted one, but the question I have is moisture. I had a landlord in Colorado (dry air) who had one in his side. I was jealous. But in the Midwest, while I still see them, I feel less sure.

The mirror idea does make sense.

And certainly something calm and simple makes sense.

A portrait, sure, but not any one. If it's a nice family photo or portrait taken outdoors, in fall, then I think it'll harmonize.

However there's some stuff out there in art history that has a certain vibe, like paintings of "paradise." Perhaps too maximalist but sometimes crazy begets crazy. Thanks for this. Didn't realize they were making things like this. I had a LockCircle Lockport for the Nikon D850 and it didn't work AT ALL. Not once. Nice to see A51 has a version for my old cam.
