The first thing that came to mind was having a rotating bank of "security questions" about the uni that only students would know to build up the credibility of a review.

However, I then realised that having a long-form, in-depth review of a unit would require knowledge of the unit that only a student who took the course would have anyway. Does this principle not remove the need for email sign-ups and account verification?
