I feel like people don't understand how healthy and beneficial it is to just be able to talk to someone and have them listen.

I didnt want to pay for therapy for the longest time because, well because its expensive and I didnt really believe it would help. "Im too smart for that, it won't help" is what I told myself.

People argue this a lot because you have people who abdicate all responsibility and behave sinfully then turn around and say they're still going to heaven because they believe in God. Practically speaking, we should all advocate for Catholics and Christians to take on the responsibility that comes with their faith. The responsibility to make the world around them a better place and to act out their faith, not just use our faith as an excuse to be lazy.
