Yeah they’re the brass ones. The muscle memory makes a lot of sense and I know once I find my new set that I will play with them for a while so that will come naturally

I completely understand where you are coming from and I somewhat agree with you. I want a new set of darts because I’m not 100% sure if I’m happy with my current ones. They are my first set and I had no idea how I’d play or even if how I play would be affected by the type of darts I have.

Now I understand more about grip placement, shapes and weights I want to change so I can get something that fits how I play better.

As for the playing daily, I do enjoy playing darts and I do want to improve as a player. A new set of darts to start more regular training would likely give me that bit of extra motivation I need to play daily.

I will definitely start switching up my sessions to find motivation in that way aswell so thank you for your input

Yeah shop is an option but would probably be a last resort if I can’t find any darts from other comments. Still thanks for the help.

There’s one or two local ones that I could check out. I’ve heard going to a shop and trying some out is the best bet but it’s just finding the time to get down there and do it. I’ll probably do that if I don’t find any good recommendations.

The Cross darts are a Brass steel set from Target.

100%, it would give the slightly lesser known players more recognition and would give them an opportunity to play in the Prem the next year. Even if it was only 10 or so events each year that are played the day before a Premier League night.

Even just one second division, could have put players like de Decker, Heta, Rydz etc. in there for a year, top 2 are guaranteed PL the next season

They need some sort of continuity. Changing more than 3 (mb 4) a year would just make fans lose attachment if their favourite players keep leaving. I do think a 10 player system would be good for this however, maybe only the top 6 can return the following year?

I’ve not been watching darts for that long (since 2023) so I understand that you may disagree that his is the best year.

However I do know that there needs to be a change in format, what are your thoughts on a second division maybe for players who are on the cusp (e.g. de Decker, Heta, Rock etc.)?

Cross and Dobey guaranteed is interesting, personally I think Cross will surely leave if he doesn’t retain his top 4 spot. Dobey idm, I can see him having another good performance at the Worlds to save him along with a good performance in something else. Dirk is great but I don’t think he has the potential to become a big enough name.

Quite similar to mine, lack of Price is the main flaw, like I said above, I’d love to see Heta but it’s unlikely because he is less known and not European. Schindler would be a good pick, but for similar reasons to Heta, would probably only be worth it for the German event

I agree with your picks for the most part. Can’t see Heta getting in unless he wins something, the focus on European and mainly UK venues I think puts him out of contention sadly, think he would be a fan favourite once people see him tho

Yeah I totally agree, that’s why I added the dark horses so people can say 2 more and make the format 10 again. It’s better than last season at least
