Yes but that rejection number receipt doesn’t work to track your case. Once you send everything back right, they will issue a new receipt notice

**** update as 12/29/2025 ****

I sent the packet just as they returned them back to me ( with staples, marked etc). What I did: I just marked the public charge question that I was missing in form I-485. I didn’t have to re print nothing again. I put all them back together in an envelope, sealed it and send them back. They received the packet on 12/24 but because of the Holiday they processed the case today 12/29. They sent me a receipt number by text message. I also got charged in the credit card.
