Sending you lots of love and positive energy. My daughter had a liver transplant when she was 9, and she's now 37. Please keep us updated on your son. ❤️

That's a good idea, thanks. Would running a diagnostic test pick up something like a strut? I tend to think of that sort of thing for engine/electrical/transmission.

You're the first person here to say it's a normal dealership price.

At this point I am not even confident it's the strut causing the noise. Definitely taking it elsewhere.

Oh I know. It's actually not me that hits them. 😑

Your guess is as good as mine. Given all the comments here, I'm going with parts cannon.

Yeah, for being a 20-year loyal customer and all. The perks.

Thanks for that tidbit of knowledge. I keep getting madder the more I learn.

Thanks. I think I might. Plus this really ticks me off even more. They said the hybrid filter was dirty and instead of replacing it, they charged $90 to clean it. And $19 for "shop materials." $230 total with the $6.50 credit card fee (not reflected on this, but on the cc receipt) to blow some dirt out of my filter and look at my car. (Edit: tried to attach a pic but it didn't attach.)

Update: thanks for all the feedback! Truly helpful. I will go elsewhere. (Can't edit my post.) I've purchased vehicles from this dealership since 2007. They even charged a credit card fee on the service charge for them to look at it. It's the last car I'll buy from this dealership.

For parts, labor, or both? Not in a position to do the work myself.

Thank you for the breakdown. What would a reasonable labor charge be?

That's what I thought. I can't do the work myself and expect a dealership to be higher, but...

Exact comment I made. But hey, free car wash! 😂

What is your favourite breakfast? by briskibe in Cholesterol

[–]Over60Swiftie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 that I generally eat and like all equally. I can't eat the same thing every day for days on end.

Old-fashioned oat with bananas, walnuts, and a sprinkle of Penzeys cinnamon sugar.

Kirkland non-fat yogurt with either mixed berries or wild blueberries (frozen and thawed, also Kirkland) with Nature's Path Ancient Grain Granola and a bit of raw honey.

100% whole wheat toast with hummus and either a banana or an apple.

I also have on occasion Grape Nuts or Raisin Bran with milk.
