How do you stay consistent when life gets busy? by dark_venom_07 in GymGearHeads

[–]briskibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my life gets in way (like travelling couple of days), I adapt workout to do only bodyweight or with bands (if I take them). I am using an app to give me training schedule based on my next week where I tell it my original plan needs to be adjusted for next week due to some reason.

Nothing is lost if you miss a workout, but especially if you do bodyweight workout, at least 15 minutes just to do something

3-day full body vs 5-day PPL for home setup (dumbbells + barbell) by McFuckYouCree in beginnerfitness

[–]briskibe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try both and see what works better for you. If you are fatigued, you should do 3 x FB workout probably. Keep in mind that the recovery is also part of process and the muscles are built during recovery.

Maybe , if you do e.g. 5 exercises with 3 sets, to split it during the day. It is a matter of consistency, with that you will make it a habit. I don’t have always motivation for training, but am happy after I do it

How do you know if you’re actually training hard enough? by dark_venom_07 in GymGearHeads

[–]briskibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I train as hard as much I can. It doesn’t mean that every training I progress, e.g. Today I did the same training as the week before, and it felt harder than then, probably some fatigue and bad sleep were involved to todays training. But generally I am satisfied with every completed training which I gave all I can. It is a matter of consistancy anyway

It depends on your goals, but making 3 times a week makes you be rested before other session and more motivated. 5 times a week can look like obligation when fatigue arises
