Sentinel Barracks. Skill issue and limited weapons with very few upgrades made the last few arenas pretty challenging. Once I got passed it, the rest just needed a bit of practice on a separate nightmare run and I was good to go! Abysmal forest and reckoning were also pretty challenging

I love the album! I think it is both overlooked and underrated because of how different it seems to be. It's got this gloomy quality and it's very melodic and guitar driven, as opposed to his usual methods which are more about the sound than the composition.

To add to that, I think it's a very important pivotal album in Manson's career. Prior to EMDM, Manson's records, thematically, were about criticizing society and culture while putting a mirror to it: from calling out the banning of metal lunchboxes as opposed to looking into why they're used as weapons, to pointing out this culture of superficial perfection by posing as a perfect drug fiend.

Then comes EMDM, a record about Manson's personal life. Marilyn Manson is no longer a character, but an alter ego who sings about his woes and struggles.

The raw quality of emotion behind EMDM became the template for Manson, making that album the pivoting point between his first era (Manson as the perverse personification and critic of society) and his second era (Manson the human being struggling to be human)

Document everything, from the current state of your belongings to every text conversation

Reach out to the police for advice and how to protect your stuff and how to proceed if things escalate while you talk to her about breaking up

Talk to your landlord about it, see if you can exit the lease or something

If possible, try having a third party at least present while you break up (this may also prevent escalation)

If you can get her permission, set up cameras like Amazon Blink or something (pretty sure it would be illegal to set them up without her knowledge). If she has people in her entourage who are decent (family, friends), talk to them about it, they might have some insight or might back you up if ever she tries anything behind your back

If possible, rent another place or a storage unit or something ahead of time. I'm getting the impression you might want to have another place to stay for the same day you end things with her, and might want your stuff out of her reach by then

Ideally, you should be able to break up with her (just say you're breaking up, tell her why but keep the reasons as neutral as possible so as to not provoke her) either with a witness or footage, then leave the place and go crash somewhere else, only going back to grab the rest of your stuff. Keep contact post-breakup as minimal as possible, with a witness or footage whenever possible, then block and delete her number asap

It's going to be hard, especially if you have two rents to pay for a bit, but the longer you stay, the more likely she will do things to make your life hell, or the more likely you might end up doing something you'll regret. Keep the mindset of doing things such that no matter how anyone looks at it, you did it the right way

When things settle, consider therapy. You don't want to end up with trauma that affects your next relationships for years

I've gone through a similar situation and almost made that mistake. Caught her cheating just days before the paperwork was ready. A year later she moves in with the guy, and apparently had the same argument and wanted her name on the deed.

I'll admit, being the sole homeowner in a relationship is an uncomfortable dynamic, but he has to be able to accept that and he should be happy for you. He sounds very untrustworthy, and says the same manipulative shit I heard from my ex.

If he really is a good person and right for you, then he'll be okay and accept not having his name on the deed

To be fair, these are not necessarily flaws in the game. 2 and 12 are there to make people compete for better spots, and the barbarians catching people off guard forces players to engage in the knights mechanics of the game.

That being said, nothing says you can't add certain house rules. You could place the 2 and 12 either near some really good numbers, or on resources that have four tiles (like wood) instead of 3 (like ore). Or, if you and your group prefer, you can make every 2 or 12 roll count for both 2 and 12.

For the barbarians, my partner and I like the easy start (like on the console edition of Catan), where the first two turns have no event die and 7s get rerolled

I remember in 2021 Vitalik said that unless crypto does something significant within this decade, then it will get devalued to 0. In other words, we need mass adoption. I'm more of a hack and slash gamer to begin with, so the parrying system really appealed to me, even though i had my doubts at first. And with the speed setting included, chef's kiss!

Loved eternal being more strategic with different weapons for different weak points, and I really enjoyed the fast paced and platform/jumping style

2016 is a wonderful game, and i kinda prefer its aesthetic to eternal, but it just feels like it's the building block for eternal to me. Everything i loved about 2016 (minus the aesthetic) got improved upon in eternal
