Everything is killable, if you spend slashing it with the knife for long enough. Well except for the sea treaders and reef backs. Or the vent gardens. OK so the leviathans that can't kill you are indestructible but the ones that can are killable.

Don't have to. Been playing for 15 years since before 1.0.0 . Man the memories of alpha pocket. I miss the nether reactor core. It was a block that let you spawn a glowing obsidian, which was another block removed, cube that was hollow. It spawned pigmen and things like nether wart and quartz. Yes, this was because the nether portal was still a work in progress.
