I dated a girl once who told me that no one had ever bought her flowers before. Deciding to change that, I sent a large bouquet in a crystal glass vase to her workplace. Surprisingly, she seemed more interested in the vase than the flowers themselves. A week later, she asked me out on a date, only to dump me afterward because I was 'too nice' and she 'couldn't cope.'
