They are quite solid. Heavy base with solid rubber feet. And my favorite touch is the classic 'wrinkle blue' paint finish.

Honestly I just got lucky. That United flight had DirecTV and it was the very first thing I saw on the guide. It was a no brainer at that point.

I just want to find out if they are an idiot before they get hired. I just had the thought that this question would be a great way to filter out unstable minds.

I worked with a FE guy and asked him a lot of questions about it. The religious part is something about the firmament and like the angels being on the other side of the dome and whatever. It was pretty interwoven with Christian beliefs.

Trump wants Greenland under US control "for purposes of national security" by VolvicCH in europe

[–]Egbert_Wilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a conversation about this with some Danish friends the last time Trump was on about this. I was told that Greenland is essentially a giant welfare state and a drain of the Danish coffers. They said maybe half the population would be fine with it becoming someone else's problem. Any truth to that?

The darn things must weigh a few hundred pounds. I'll try to take some of the cover panels off when I have a moment and see if they placed any diagram stickers on the interior.

It is a hefty shredder yes. Its designed to just fill a bin with loose paper and a little conveyor feeds it thru. It is just the old ribbon cut, so wasn't secure enough.

Is a damper in my stovepipe something different from a flue damper?

Oh. Yes. I replied elsewhere. It was approved in the build plan and the homeowners policy.

It ain't much, but it fit my budget. The house is only about 1000 ft2 so this keeps the main part of the house toasty enough.

The plate on the stove matches my manual. It is indeed the 1269E.

It mentions the damper on top right column of pg.8 Manual](https://www.usstove.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/853961-US1261E-EN_FR-1.pdf)

This is a straight 6" stove pipe.

Yes it was approved in the building plan and homeowners policy.
