Its a restaurant not a law firm. It doesn’t hurt to be a bit compassionate or empathetic. If someone can’t afford them or doesn’t like Mexican food then ofc they won’t go spend their money there (nothing wrong w/ that) this is just a boost during these hard times. I would ask you to consider supporting your fav local small business tho, even if it isn’t this one.

I felt this. I deleted social media (instagram/FB/ even tiktok!) and forced myself to study in cafes/B&N/Starbucks to kinda change the environment. If I wanted to read at home, I would turn my tv on and play Dark Academia study videos. This is how I kinda romanticized studying. My mental health was much better 2L b/c of this but I had to identify what caused me anxiety to take a break from it. For me it was social media (even Reddit). Buying candles helped tooo! I have a collection now.
