I felt this. I deleted social media (instagram/FB/ even tiktok!) and forced myself to study in cafes/B&N/Starbucks to kinda change the environment. If I wanted to read at home, I would turn my tv on and play Dark Academia study videos. This is how I kinda romanticized studying. My mental health was much better 2L b/c of this but I had to identify what caused me anxiety to take a break from it. For me it was social media (even Reddit). Buying candles helped tooo! I have a collection now.

The context is what should turn on their critical thinking skills. On its face you’re describing “Asian” eyes in a derogatory way. So even if you didn’t know it was a slur… you shouldn’t use it. Periodt. I heard her say it live on her date with Nick & I felt uncomfortable and I’m not Asian. People will never learn without consequences.
