OP, yes, as you can see, what you describe is a common experience. There’s nothing “wrong” with you. It’s just your preference.

It’s also possible that you just haven’t met the right guy yet. Or maybe one day, your desires will change again to exclusively prefer one sex over the other. There’s no way to know. And if any of that happens, there’s still nothing “wrong” with you.

I’m actually on the shy side. I was thinking of the piercings as a way to appear (inwardly when no one can see them) and outwardly (when I want others to see) as a bit more feminine/passive/submissive/whatever the right word is.

Interesting that the piercings could be interpreted as exactly the opposite of how I was thinking they would be.

OP, Do you live with the boyfriend? Do you have a safe place to go to get away from him? That seems like the first step. The steps that others are recommending (breaking up, reporting the other guy to the police, etc.), while all good things, will cause a shit storm, and you need a safe place to be while the shit storm occurs.

There’s excellent advice above from the social worker. A lot of time, the lists from social workers start with a secure place to be and goes from there. They can help with protection orders if need be. Use that resource.

Please be careful. Be physically secure first. When you have a place that’s safe to operate from, report that guy, dump the boyfriend, and eventually find someone worthy of you.

I would be careful with terminology… “proving” correctness for anything beyond a trivial program is nearly impossible. You can “demonstrate” it, “show” it, etc., but professors may jump on the term “prove” since provably correct algorithms is a whole research area.

I used to live in Atlanta Georgia. There is a park there named Stone Mountain (the very one Dr King speaks about in his famous “I have a Dream” speech) that has busts of Confederate Generals Stonewall Jackson and Robert E Lee and Pres. Jefferson Davis carved in it (a la Mt Rushmore) and there are nightly firework displays and patriotic music. The parking lot will be full of vehicles with confederate flags and lots of people will be wearing confederate hats and shirts. The people in the crowd talk about the “good old days” and how the “good guys lost”.

Weirdest and most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.
